Ask yourself

1. What makes the human animal different from any other living creature? Are there any institutions or creations that are uniquely human? Are we higher or lower than other animals?

What parts us from any other living animal is our ability to hate, to love, and to discriminate. Animals will fight for dominance, to become the alpha male, to keep order. We fight because some one looks at us the wrong way. This I believe to be uniquely human. We may be higher in a “sense” of intellect, but when it comes to social maters no we are not.

2. Is war necessary?

In today’s society yes, we as a race are prideful and vengeful. We cannot, nor will we, back down.

3. What are Mankind’s most important institutions, inventions, or creations?

Government, Poetry, Art, Theater, Geometry, and Religion.

4. Do you have any personal prejudices? What are they? BE HONEST

Yes, I do. I cannot stand people who insist they know everything in the universe, even though the universe is so vast that no one person could possibly learn and comprehend all things in it in an entire lifetime. I don’t like people who cannot be serious, but I hate people who don’t know how to laugh at themselves.

5. What do you most fear?

My greatest fear is not death for it will come when it will. I would have to say that my greatest fear is not to be betrayed by those I love, but to betray the ones I hold dear and closest to my heart.

6. Define GOOD and EVIL. Is man born good or evil?

Evil-Lack of conscience.
Good-ability to feel remoras.
Man is born neutral and is influenced by the world around “him”.

7. What happens to you when you die?

We go through a cycle of rebirth so death is just the beginning.

8. At what age are you an adult? How do you know?

There is no set age for adulthood. A person becomes an adult when he or she no longer relies on mommy and daddy for everything and is mature enough to take on the responsibilities that go along with it.

9. What do you believe is the key to happiness?

Understanding and being able to express your self in every form

10. Have you traveled? If money were not an object where would you go in the world? Why? What other culture most interests you?

Yes I have traveled, well some would call it moving. I was born in Canada and traveled/moved to the United States when I was nine. If money were not an object I would go to India, because the culture fascinates me. Other cultures I’m interested in: Japanese and Chinese.

11. What one subject would you pursue if you could become an expert in one thing?

I would be and expert of all the religions in all the world.

12. For what freedom are you most grateful? What is your greatest talent, love, downfall?

Freedom of expression. Talent-writing Love-life downfall-love

13. Whom do you admire? Why?

My grandfather- he was the kind of person I have always strived to be. I can honestly and humbly say that I have not yet reached my goal. He taught me to laugh, to love the written word, to see beyond what the surface presents, to consider and accept others not inspite of differences but because of them. He was proud, honest, and his faith never wavered, he believed to the end.

14. What words of wisdom do you live by?

I don’t live by words I live by experience.

15. What is the most treasured memory of your childhood?

Going for walks in fall/ summer/ spring/ and winter with my grandfather. Watching him pray in church. Learning from him, sneaking home made chocolate chip cookies before dinner with him, and listening to the stories he wrote.
